To celebrate the upcoming release of the highly-anticipated film version of LES MISERABLES, BroadwayWorld invites you to share your 'Les Mis' experience for a chance to win the ultimate fan prize pack! Today is your last chance to enter so get your essay in before it's too late!

Write a short essay (500 word limit) on your most vivid 'Les Miserables' experience. This can be the first time you saw the musical live on stage, listened to the cast recordings, or read Victor Hugo's classic novel.

BroadwayWorld's writing staff will select the 5 runner-ups, and one winner will be selected from those by BWW Editor in Chief.

One winner will receive the Ultimate Les Miserables Prize Package including a TV, DVD player, cast recordings of the original Broadway and London productions, and DVDs of the 10th & 25th Anniversary concert versions.

The following criteria will be applied when selecting the runner-ups and the winner.

1. Originality: the essay topic is approached with creativity, imagination, and emotion.

2. Quality of content:
the essay is presented clearly and its material is well organized, well developed and accurate.

3. Style:
the essay has a clear structure with a title, introduction, body and conclusion. Paragraphs are used correctly, and punctuation, spelling and grammar are correct.
