Jokesters Comedy Club Continues With All-Star Comedy Lineup In Downtown Las Vegas

No contests, no gimmicks just standup comedy the way it's meant to be: Live and uncensored. Jokesters Comedy Club in downtown Las Vegas features professional standup comedy seven nights a week overlooking The Fremont Street Experience and is currently in talks to expand their brand with more venues around the world along with the continuation of Jokesters TV.

It's no wonder Jokesters received the 2018 Best of Las Vegas Comedy Club - Silver Award from the Las Vegas Review Journal as well as the 2017 Best New Show from Vegas.com and Best Comedy Club from Casino Player Magazine as Jokesters features professional standup comedy 7 nights a week inside The D Casino Hotel. For those that can't make it to their live show in Las Vegas, Jokesters TV is the nationally televised, late night television show featuring highlights of the best of Jokesters nightly show and is available on The CW as well as YouTube, Amazon and will begin shooting even more episodes in 2019.

Jokesters Comedy Club is owned and operated by comedian Don Barnhart and his wife Linda Vu and Barnhart's background in comedy both on and offstage is un-paralleled. Barnhart has been entertaining the troops around the world since 1992 with his first of countless USO Tours and then founded Battle Comics to continue bringing even more laughter to those serving overseas in the United States Armed Forces.

"Entertaining the troops has been a priority of mine", said comedian Don Barnhart in a recent interview and Jokesters continues the tradition with a 50% discount off general admission tickets every night of the week. Don and his Battle Comics Team were recently featured in Jordan Brady's documentary I AM BATTE COMIC about the importance of entertaining the troops around the world which featured interviews with George Lopez, Dave Attell, Wayne Federman and more.

At the age of 18, Barnhart got his start as a doorman at The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, CA and by the time he was twenty, Don was the house emcee, talent coordinator and night-manager where he booked, opened for, worked alongside and learned from the best of the best in comedy including: George Carlin, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Jay Leno, Garry Shandling, David Spade, Roseanne Barr, Drew Carey, Dennis Miller, Judd Apatow, Louie Anderson, George Wallace, Ellen Degeneres, Graham Chapman from Monty Python and more.

Barnhart was one of the first to graduate from the Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles prior to moving to Las Vegas where he became a regular headliner at the top comedy clubs on the strip before opening his own venue. Don now serves as one of the resident headliners at Jokesters when he's not on tour.

Many of Jokesters' comedians have been seen on The Tonight Show, Conan, HBO, Comedy Central, MTV, Late Night, Showtime, Howard Stern and more. With it's popularity, celebrities are always dropping in to work out new material when they're in town and comedy legend George Wallace recently took time off from his own show at The Westgate to join Barnhart on stage at Jokesters.

Jokesters also showcases some of the best up and coming comedy talent and was one of the reasons Barnhart founded of The Las Vegas Comedy Institute where he teaches standup, comedy writing and improv. "The Institute is kind of like a farm league helping to groom the next generation on professional comedians as Jokesters is always open to giving the best local, up and coming Las Vegas Comics quality stage time. Too many new comics gain bad habits from working open mics and playing to just their peers."

Barnhart added, "The main thing we emphasize is 'funny'. Although Jokesters is a late-night venue and we don't censor our comics, it's not a place to gross out or shock the audience so if it ain't funny, it's not on our stage. We only use professional comedians as with the popularity of Jokesters TV we're currently looking to expand our brand with venues around the world including Jokesters Hawaii, Jokesters Asia, Jokesters Europe, Jokesters At Sea and Jokesters Entertaining The Troops World Tour."

Don's book, Finding Your Funny: Exploring The Art, Science and Business of Comedy is a best seller on Amazon. With a humorous and heartfelt forward by Comedy Legend George Wallace, Finding Your Funny features interviews with comedians, agents, bookers and managers sharing advice, horror stories and the general information every comic should know in order to succeed in the entertainment business.

Barnhart returns to Jokesters Dec 26, 27thand most of Jan, Feb, March and headlining this week is Greg Vaccariello who recently starred alongside Kevin James in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. Greg also appeared in King of Queens, as well as recurring roles on the NBC show Law and Order: Special Victim's Unit and Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

Jokesters Comedy Club is located on the second floor inside The D Casino Showroom. 301 Fremont St. Las Vegas, NV 89101.

The D Casino Hotel offers 3 hours of FREE Validated parking. The age limit is 18 and over and locals/military are always ½ off general admission.
