Jetset Getset to Return to Toby Keith's in Cincinnati, 2/12

Teenage band Jetset Getset will celebrate the upcoming radio release of the anti-bullying song "Stronger" with a return engagement at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Cincinnati on Wednesday, February 12.

The concert will be free and open to all ages. Jetset Getset, which was recognized by the Country Music Association among "Who New to Watch" in 2013, previously performed two shows at Toby Keith's, each of which drew a stand room-only crowd. "Stronger," one of 10 songs on the group's album "Saturday Night," is being used by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, a nonprofit organization that provides bullying prevention resources for students, parents and teachers nationwide.

The song and an accompanying music video are featured on PACER's website, along with personal video messages from the members of Jetset Getset, about why bullying is an important issue. The song will be released to radio stations beginning in mid-February.

"Many kids are bullied because they are perceived as being different," said Julie Hertzog, director of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center. "'Stronger' is powerful because it speaks about the value in being who you really are."

"We are excited to be releasing this song as a single," said Kelli Jette, manager of Jetset Getset and professor of educational psychology at the University of Cincinnati. "Even though 'Stronger' has been available since our album came out, by releasing it to radio stations, we hope more people will hear it and be inspired by the message."

"Stronger" was written by Jennifer Eliason, the mother of singer Avery Eliason, to encourage people who feel sad or rejected.

"Teenagers tend to get beat up emotionally," Jennifer said. "We decided to write a song about how just because other people might judge you, you, you can rise above it and become a stronger person."

Based in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Jetset Getset is comprised of singers Tori Little (16), Sadie Loveland (16) and Avery Eliason (15); guitarists Jason Owens (17) and Justen Jette (16); bassist Paul Kelley (18); drummer Gillian Bowman (14) and keyboard player Terry Ranck, the only adult who performs with the group on a regular basis. "Stronger" and other music by Jetset Getset is available through iTunes and other online retailers.
