Greasepaint Presents SCHOOL OF ROCK

School of Rock, presented by Greasepaint Theatre, rolls into town ROCKtober 26 through- November 4

The musical follows Dewey Finn, a wanna be rock star who fakes his way into a job as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. After discovering the hidden musical talent in his students, Dewey creates a rock group of his fifth-graders and enters them in a Battle of the Bands contest.

SCHOOL OF ROCK is based on the 2003 hit motion picture starring Jack Black. The musical adaptation first opened on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre on November 9, 2015 is expected to close on January 20, 2019, after 31 previews and 1,307 regular performances.
