Get Ready to Laugh at Two-Night Improv Comedy Festival in West Hartford

Couldn't we all use some laughs right about now? Well, the Universalist Church of West Hartford is hosting "A Night of Universal Laughter," a two-night improv comedy festival, on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m.

This two-night event brings together the top improv comedy groups from Greater Hartford to support the Universalist Church of West Hartford and its community outreach programs.

The performing groups on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 include Sea Tea Improv, Cloud 9, History of the Future, KnucklePuck, Piggy Got Owned and Rooster, along with stand-up comic Steve Fischman.

Both performances will include short- and long-form improv sketches and stand-up comedy too. There will be a mix of hysterical comedy scenes and improvised songs, created on the spot from audience suggestions. Audience members will also enjoy fast and funny improv games - just like the TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Don't be surprised if audience members are even encouraged to come on stage to take part in the fun.

"We are so grateful to these performers for donating their time and talents to share the gift of laughter with the Greater Hartford community and support our ability to support the community, when more than laughter is needed right now," said the Universalist Church of West Hartford Rev. Dr. Adam Robersmith.

"A Night of Universal Laughter" will be held on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Universalist Church of West Hartford, which is located at 433 Fern Street in West Hartford, CT. General admission tickets are $15 each. VIP tickets are also available for $50 with exclusive perks, like signed posters, photos with your favorite improv groups, guaranteed stage time and even special seats. Performances are recommended for audiences 10 years old and up, and concessions will also be for sale. Visit www.WestHartfordUU.org. or EventBrite to learn more or order advance tickets.
