Elad Theater and Cameri Theater Team Up for New Production of THE FATHER

Elad Theater and the Cameri Theater have announced a new production of The Father, the acclaimed play by French playwright Florian Zeller. Directed by Shai Pitovsky and translated by Dori France, the production stars Dvir Bendek in the leading role. Performances will run through 8 August.

Widely regarded as one of the most celebrated plays of the modern era, The Father is a moving human drama infused with dark humor, compassion, and emotional honesty. The story follows André, a man whose grasp on reality is increasingly affected by dementia. As memories, relationships, places, and timelines blur together, audiences are drawn directly into his fragmented perspective, experiencing the confusion and uncertainty of his world from within rather than observing it from the outside.
