On September 30, 2017, from 7am until 11am, NextStop Theatre Company will hold a costume sale at 750 Center Street ("ArtSpace") in Historic Downtown Herndon. All of the proceeds from the sale will benefit NextStop Theatre Company's charitable mission, which includes education programs and building the bonds of community through the performing arts.

Over the span of nearly 30 years, the Herndon performing arts non-profit has built an inventory of thousands of costumes from every type of play and musical imaginable they have produced. NextStop is now holding a charity sale of approximately 60 percent of that inventory.

The sale will feature costumes perfect for Halloween -- from super-hero costumes to sailor suits to princess dresses. In addition, there will be racks and bins filled with wedding dresses, furs, mens' and womens' suits, dresses, skirts, shoes, hats, pants, and more.

"This sale is going to be so much fun," said Board Member Laina Lopez, who has been helping Board President Vicki Kile in organizing the sale. "I have never seen so many furry hats, princess dresses, funny outfits, and unique costumes in one place!"

NextStop will accept cash and credit cards at the sale from eager customers looking for a bargain.

Kile added, "I don't usually dress up for Halloween, but this year I just might have to."

In addition to the costumes, NextStop will hold the drawing for an 8-Day Viking River Cruise Raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event or at any theater performance.

NextStop Theatre Company is the professional theatre of The Elden Street Players, a 501(c)3 non-profit which in January will begin celebrating serving the community for 30 years.
