Variety reports that television's 'Damages' will be relocating for its fourth season. Though its first three seasons aired on FX, the next two 10-episode seasons will air on DirecTV beginning the summer of 2012. Next summer, the provider will begin airing the first season of the show.

Glenn Close and Rose Byrne have signed to continue with the series, and the rest of the cast is expected to follow suit.

Close won the Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a Drama for 'Damages' for its first two seasons, and has been nominated for the third. Joining Close this year on the Emmy voting sheet are Rose Byrne and Martin Short (for supporting performances), and Ted Danson and Lily Tomlin (for guest appearances).Though it has been critically acclaimed, the drama averaged a mere 1.3 million viewers in its third season, prompting the FX cancellation. 'Damages' is executive produced by Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler, and Daniel Zelman.
