'Mob Wives' Ramona Rizzo and Karen Gravano Make Guest Appearances In MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING - 12/1/2012

Ramona Rizzo and Karen Gravano of the hit VH1 series "Mob Wives" will be publicly make a stand in support of marriage equality on November 17th and December 1st when they officiate the wedding of "Anthony" and "Andrew" in the hit Off-Broadway comedy "My Big Gay Italian Wedding."


Gaby Hoffmann and Greg Mullavey Featured in THE LAST SEDER at Theater Three - 12/1/2012

Rosalind Productions Inc. will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Jennifer Maisel's The Last Seder. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Theater Three (311 West 43rd Street) begins December 1st and continues through December 20th only. Opening Night is set for Tuesday December 4th (7pm). The show runs 90 minutes without an intermission.


Revised Version of Schwartz's WORKING Opens at 59E59 Theaters - 12/1/2012

59E59 Theaters has announced the Prospect Theater Company production of WORKING, from the book by Studs Terkel, adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso, with additional contributions by Gordon Greenberg. Songs are by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers & Susan Birkenhead, Stephen Schwartz, and James Taylor. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, WORKING begins performances on Saturday, December 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 30.


PiPe Dream Theatre Opens Steam-Punk Show THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSE KING Off-Broadway - 12/1/2012

PiPE DREAM THEATRE has announced the world premiere production of Liz Muller and Collin Simon's THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSE KING, directed by Liz Muller. THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSE KING will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's Beckett Theatre (Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street). Performances begin Wednesday, November 28 and continue through Saturday, December 15. Opening Night is Saturday, December 1.


Davidson Returns to THE FANTASTICKS as 'Bellomy' - 12/1/2012

Beloved television, stage, and film actor, John Davidson, will continue his love affair with the world's longest running musical The Fantasticks on December 1, 2012. Davidson returns this time in the role of Bellomy, the quirky loveable father to Luisa, which marks his third role in The Fantasticks.


ALT's THE GOLDEN TICKET Releases Live Recording - 12/1/2012

American Lyric Theater (ALT) announces that the live recording of its first commissioned opera, The Golden Ticket, a comic opera by Peter Ash and Donald Sturrock based on Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is now available for pre-order from Albany Records on Amazon.com. The Golden Ticket will be officially released on CD this December 1, 2012.


THE LION KING Brings Special Exhibit to Bryant Park - 12/1/2012

‘Inside The Lion King,' the first immersive, pop-up exhibit ever created for a Broadway show, arrives adjacent to Bryant Park, on 42nd Street and Avenue of the Americas, for a limited time to celebrate 15 years of The Lion King in New York City. More than 65 million people have experienced The Lion King, but never before like this. In this free exhibit, fans of all ages will experience and interact with 86 museum-quality artifacts including hand-made puppets, sculpted masks, elaborate artisan costumes and extraordinary sets that have appeared in productions from around the world.


Rattlestick Kicks Off F*CK!NG GOOD PLAYS! Festival - 12/1/2012

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced that the 2012 F*ck!ng Good Plays (festival, III)--ten (10) days of new play readings by nine (9) of today's hottest playwrights--will begin Saturday, December 1 and continue through Monday, December 10. Previews begin Friday, October 12 for the Playwrights Horizons' production of THE WHALE, the New York premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Samuel D. Hunter (A Bright New Boise).
