Klub Wonderland Under New Management

Mad World takes audiences into a crazy, twisted and dark cabaret club, transporting our cast and audience back to Berlin, 1940. Audiences will find themselves up close and personal with these creatures of the night as they navigate their way through an upside down world that may not always make sense. By completely breaking the wall between theatrics and reality with this fully immersive performance, the premiere of Mad World will be an experience not to be missed.

Led by director James Cutler (School Of Rock), musical director David Butler (Falsettos), Lauren McKenna (Heathers, Puffs) and choreographer Madison Lee (Bare, The Wild Party), audiences will be treated to a variety of toe tapping full company song and dance numbers with a twist. Mad World takes inspiration from Sleep No More in New York, Alice in Wonderland and elements of Cabaret and The Moulin Rouge. Director James Cutler, Musical Director David Butler and Choreographer Madison Lee have assembled a fiery and established ensemble of performers.

In the midst of WWII, audiences will be treated up close and personal to interactions and performances from twisted versions of well-known characters such as The Queen of Hearts, The White Rabbit, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, The March Hare and The Mad Hatter.

With an incredibly talented ensemble of performers including Meg Hickey (Chicago), Rhys Velasquez (Paw Patrol), Teagan Nowicki (Bring It On), Quin Kelly (Bare), Melissa Gan (The Four Note Opera), Bianca Bruce (Falsettos), Lawsoon Reeves (Big Brother 2014), Darcey Eagle (Einstein; Master of the Universe), Celina Yuen (Boy From Oz), Gavin Turnbull (The Toxic Avenger), Anthony Craig (Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries NZ) and Chloe Towan (Twelfth Night), audiences will be treated to a one of a kind experience. Audiences will leave asking themselves "Am I Mad?" The answer... "We're All Mad Here."
