Casper Events Center Announces Installation Of New Seats The City of Casper and Spectra Venue Management are pleased to announce the installation of new seats and modified ADA seating areas at the Casper Events Center.

When Spectra Venue Management took over the management of the Casper Events Center in October 2016, one of the first goals was to improve patron accessibility and comfort. The completion of these projects allows all patrons the availability, ease of access to all sections of the building, increased comfort and an improved guest experience for those with and without mobility concerns.

The biggest change patrons will notice is a wider seat and increased leg room. Previously, the average seat width was 20.5". The new seats are 24" wide and add 3" of additional leg room. These seats are finished with padded cushions and backs in a high-wear and stain resistant navy blue material. A flip-up armrest with cup holder is an added amenity to the new seats.

The new seats are manufactured by Telescopic Seating Systems from Grand Rapids, MI. Company owner Fred Jacobs has been instrumental in developing a solution for more leg room with the available row depth.

Casper Events Center General Manager, Brad Murphy, says "Since my first day at the venue, the most common feedback that I've heard from our guests is their displeasure with the existing seats. It's an honor for Spectra to be a part of this major improvement to the venue. We know that it's going to improve the experience for our guests and we're anxious for the public to attend our open house in November to sit in the new seats."

The fabrication and installation of the new ADA decks was performed by Geer Fabrication from Gillette, WY. Local Spectra crews are performing the removal of the old seats while the new seating installation is being completed by Tandem Commercial, Inc. from the Salt Lake City, UT.

The improvements can be viewed in-person at the Casper Events Center Open House scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The open house will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, door prizes, ticket discounts, opportunity to meet the staff, food samples and a chance to sit in the new seats. The first official show in the new seats will be the World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation Championship on Friday, November 9th.
