CBS's FACE THE NATION is # 1 Sunday Morning Public Affairs Program in Viewers Year-to-Date

CBS News' FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers television year-to-date, according to Nielsen most current ratings. Television year-to-date, FACE THE NATION is averaging 3.54 million viewers and 0.7/03 in adults 25-54. FACE THE NATION delivered 3.63 million viewers on Dec. 10 and 0.7/03 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. (Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 59.8% of the CBS affiliates.)

The Dec. 10 broadcast opened with an interview with U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, followed by interviews with Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL). Next, John Dickerson moderated a foreign policy discussion with Michael O'Hanlon, senior fellow and director of research at the Brookings Institution, and Kori Schake, distinguished fellow at the Hoover Institution. The political roundtable featured TIME's Molly Ball; CBS News White House and senior foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan; Lanhee Chen, research fellow at the Hoover Institution; and The Washington Post and CBS News contributor Ed O'Keefe.
