Amor y Desengaño (Love and Betrayal) is part of Solá's continuing commitment to perform songs from the Spanish and Latin American repertoire. This concert is a tribute to Gilberto Monroig, one of the most cherished popular singers of Puerto Rico, featuring songs popularized by Monroig in the 1950s and 1960s, brought together in a modern adaptation to tell an impassioned story of love and betrayal. Solá will perform with a conjunto (band) of accomplished musicians from the New York Latin music scene.

Musicians include Martín Solá, lead vocals; Juancho Herrera, guitar; Jorge Torres, guitar; Vitor Gonçalvez, accordion; Yayo Serka, percussion; and Benjamin Willis, bass.
