Bar of the Week: SLATE in the Chelsea Neighborhood of NYC

Slate has long been an area favorite. And now, with a two million dollar facelift, we are sure there will be a whole new group of fans. Lure Group's CEO Aristotle Hatzigeorgiou recently welcomed guests to experience all of the exciting renovations and additions.

The massive 16,000 square foot space with two levels has something for all revelers to enjoy like their 3 bowling lanes, skee ball, pool tables, a secret karaoke room, ping-pong, pinball, and foosball. We love the brilliantly lit 20-foot tube slide that takes you from the top floor to the ground floor.

Stay refreshed at their pouring station with wine and beer on tap or enjoy classic and artisanal cocktails. Be sure to order delectable bites to go with your drinks. We love their Maryland Crabcake Pops, Pulled Pork Empanadas, Cauliflower Thin Crust Pizza, and Filet Mignon Toast.

Slate's new weekly "Magic Monday Party" gives you a reason to start your week off right. Other special events include "Paint Nite," trivia nights, and special performances. Their Happy Hour schedule is Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Gather your group. Slate is waiting for you.
