Attended last night's performance, fabulous costumes, effects and sets. Great energy from performers, a very enjoyable evening. The only negative was that some sections could be shorter, especially the Mad Hatters.

I saw Harvey in Fiddler on Broadway- he gave a wonderful performance, filled with true heart and soul- he's definitely not a traditional "singer" but has the spirit to make this show soar.

I saw this production. Very enjoyable and quite funny. Jim Armstrong stole the show in his eye-catching costumes as Snout the Tinker and the Wall.

The biological mom was inseminated with both guys sperm. They didn't sleep with her. You missed the entire joke, Rachel said she didn't really know which guy was the real dad. Eventhough one was obviously jewish the other black.

Pizza Man: Deliver Us From...

Seriously, "rape isn't funny?" Neither is murder, but there are plenty of comedies about that. PM has been produced thousands of times since it was published but, no you're right, rape isn't funny. All those people sitting next to the reviewer, laughing, must have been recalling something amusing in the drive to the theatre.

Everyman Theatre To Extend Run Of THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP Thru 12/13 2009/11/24

Could not have been better. Superb acting. Hilarious spoof. I loved it and aparently so did everyone else in the audience. We laughed until our facial muscles ached. Wonderful and I don't generally like these kinds of plays. This was a theatrical feat from beginning to end.

New Group Tributes Ruth & Stephen Hendel on Oct.15 2007/10/12
Posted: 12/5/2009
Stephen Hendel is the real owner of the Knitting Factory Concert Houses in Boise, Spokane and Reno. So if a security guard at one of these venues, beats you unconscious, you can sue Stephen. He has deep pockets. Probably worth 300 million plus. Remember, don't settle if your teeth get broken out at a concert. Get a lawyer and get this guy for 9 mil.

Douglas J. Cohen Wins York Theatre Company's Noel Coward Award; Presented 12/16 2009/12/01

This is great news. Doug Cohen is a wonderful writer, and NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY showed just how well he does all three departments -- book, music, lyrics. I can't imagine how he does it. I saw THE GIG at Goodspeed in Chester a few years ago and thought is was wonderful -- funny, touching, and wise. I've often asked myself why it is taking so long to make its way to NY... partly, I suspect, because Doug is so prolific (as was Mr. Coward.) Go see it! Kudos to Doug, and kudos to the York.
