BWW Previews: The Skivvies SPASHDANCE at 42West in NYC, 3/16

Jacob Langfelder presents THE SKIVVIES... Splashdance! The undie-rock comedy-pop duo of Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley (The Skivvies), will kick off their 42West monthly residency this spring with an all-star line up of guest artists from the worlds of Broadway, Television and Film. The concert will feature original video graphics mapped on a 30 foot LED wall. The concert takes place Monday, March 16th, 2015 at 42West, which is located at 514 West 42nd Street in New York City.

Joining The Skivvies are James Carpinello (Rock of Ages), Phillipa Soo (Hamilton, Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Adam Kantor (Rent, Next to Normal) Jessica Vosk (The Bridges of Madison County), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago), Natalie Tenenbaum, Ephraim Sykes(Motown, Newsies, Memphis), Zak Resnick (Piece of my Heart, Mamma Mia!), Robyn Anderson, and many more.

The Skivvies are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, award-winning singer/actor/musicians performing stripped down arrangements of eclectic covers and eccentric originals. Not only is the music stripped down ­ cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica ­but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform.

Molina (Broadway's Rock of Ages and Sweeney Todd) and Cearley (All Shook Up) became YouTube sensations with their Skivvies covers of artists like Robyn, Carole King and Rihanna. The videos led to live shows, and now this undie-rock comedy-pop duo, assisted by drummerShannon Ford, performs to sold-out audience in New York and beyond. They also have a single, "Hardbody Hoedown," with a music video directed by Augusten Burroughs, bestselling author ofRunning With Scissors.

Tickets for the show begin at $20 for General Admission; Reserved Seats are $35 and VIP Tickets, which include preferred seating and VIP Meet & Greet, are $75 each.
