Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Alyse Alan Louis in TEETH in concert by Michael R. Jackson and Anna K. Jacobs on Sunday, September 17 at 9:30pm.

Gird your loins and join us at Feinstein's/54 Below for the new musical TEETH in concert! Adapted from writer-director Mitchell Lichtenstein's 2007 horror comedy film of the same name, TEETH tells the darkly comedic story of Dawn O'Keefe, a 16 year old leader of teen abstinence group Promise Keeper Girls as she discovers she has a powerful secret and weapon - vagina dentata.

The show features a tuneful and eclectic score by Michael R. Jackson (A Strange Loop) and Anna K. Jacobs (POP!). TEETH was previous produced in 2016 at Sundance Institute's Theater program, as part of Musical Theatre Factory at Playwrights Horizons (dir. Marlo Hunter) and in 2014 at Ars Nova (dir. Ed Iskandar). TEETH was first developed through the Ars Nova Uncharted program and was a finalist for the 2015 B-Side Productions New American Musical Award.

TEETH plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Sunday, September 17 at 9:30pm. There is a $25-$35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Michael R. Jackson holds a BFA and MFA in playwriting and Musical Theatre Writing from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In addition to writing lyrics and co-writing book for Teeth, Michael wrote book and lyrics for Only Children with composer Rachel Peters, book, music, lyrics for the musical A Strange Loop, and is currently working on book, music, and lyrics for White Girl In Danger. He is a 2017 Jonathan Larson Grant Recipient, 2017 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award winner and 2016-2017 Dramatist Guild Fellow and the 2017 Williamstown Theatre Festival Playwright-In-Residence.

Anna K. Jacobs was recently recognized for her work as a composer/lyricist with the prestigious Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award. Her shows include POP! (Yale Rep, Pittsburgh City Theatre, Studio Theatre, etc.; w/ Maggie-Kate Coleman), Harmony, Kansas (Diversionary Theatre; w/ Bill Nelson), Stella and the Moon Man (STC/Theatre of Image; w/ Richard Tulloch & AdrIan Kelly), Teeth (Sundance Institute; w/ Michael R. Jackson), Echo (The Gallery Players), and the short musicals Cage Match and Magic 8 Ball (Prospect Theatre Company; w/ Sam Salmond & Michael R. Jackson). She is currently writing music and lyrics for a new musical about the nation's opioid crisis (commissioned by George Street Playhouse) and a short movie musical directed by Paul Warner (commissioned by NYFA). www.annakjacobs.com
