Legacy Mutual Mortgage has announced that it will underwrite the Texas State University Department of Theatre and Dance's fall production of A Chorus Line, allowing all ticket proceeds to go toward student scholarships.

"This is such a generous contribution that Legacy Mutual is making to our department and to the future of our students," said Deb Alley, chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State. "It's an investment that highlights the importance of the arts in building a strong community."

According to head of the musical theatre program Kaitlin Hopkins, show sponsor benefits include above the title credit on all programs, posters, and advertisements. Legacy will also get visibility on the Department website as well as the musical theater website, all program social media platforms and on the musical theater Youtube channel which has over 4,900 subscribers and 2.6 million views. Over 13,000 patrons visit Department of Theatre and Dance productions every year.
