AT&T Performing Arts Center And TodayTix Announce New Young Professional Partnership

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center (the Center) has joined forces with TodayTix, the international ticketing platform on a mission to redefine the way people see theater, to offer the newest generation of culture lovers enhanced networking opportunities and one-of-a-kind theatrical experiences for the best prices that Dallas-Fort Worth has to offer.

The new program, named "TodayTix Center Social," aims to cultivate a community of young professionals and artists committed to fostering the future of the performing arts in North Texas. For an annual donation of $99 - or 12 monthly payments of $10 - members gain access to exclusive discounts on Center programming, mobile Rush tickets, cast meet 'n' greets, networking nights, volunteer opportunities, and industry events. Registration opened this Saturday, July 7.

"The community that forms when people see live performance together is like nothing else and creating that bond with the next generation of audiences is extremely important for the future of a city's artistic landscape. TodayTix offers the easy service to the best-priced tickets that younger patrons seek, and combining that with the Center's extensive network of world-class productions and events is the perfect formula to foster that community," Brian Fenty, TodayTix Co-Founder and CEO, said.

"This program will make seeing shows more convenient, more affordable and more fun for the young professionals of North Texas," said Debbie Storey, Interim President and CEO of AT&T Performing Arts Center. "We're excited about our partnership with TodayTix."

In an effort to expand access to all DFW theatergoers, the Center will also be offering season-long $25 mobile Rush tickets through the TodayTix app for the full 2018-19 Broadway season. Beginning at 9am each performance date, a limited number of $25 Rush tickets will be made available and can be claimed on a first come, first-served basis in-app. This new access program kicked off with "Hairspray" last week in an exciting collaboration between the Center and the Tony Award-winning Dallas Theater Center. Other available titles throughout the season include "A Bronx Tale," "Falsettos," "The Play That Goes Wrong," "Chicago," and more.

TodayTix launched in Texas this April, partnering with more than 30 of the premiere performing arts organizations in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, including the Center and Dallas Theater Center. Other partners include Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Cliburn, The Dallas Opera, Texas Ballet Theater, WaterTower Theatre, Casa Mañana, and Circle Theatre.
