Paramount has released a premiere clip from the first episode of its animated series AMONG US, offering an early look at the show's comedic take on the beloved multiplayer video game. The footage introduces two new Crewmates, Green and White, voiced by Elijah Wood and Patton Oswalt respectively, as they arrive aboard The Skeld and receive an orientation from their HR representative, Orange, voiced by Yvette Nicole Brown. The sequence plays the onboarding process for laughs, leaning into corporate workplace humor as the pair navigate an HR training video and their cheerfully ominous new colleague.
AMONG US is an animated comedy series based on the massively popular social deduction video game developed by InnerSloth, which became a global cultural phenomenon in the early 2020s. The series translates the game's premise of Crewmates trying to identify a hidden Impostor aboard a spacecraft into a narrative format, building out the world of The Skeld with original characters and storylines across its ten-episode first season.
The series streams exclusively on Paramount+, with the full ten-episode run currently available on the platform. The premiere episode is titled "A Pizza Party Where Nothing Bad Happens," and the show marks one of Paramount's more ambitious efforts to adapt gaming intellectual property into original animated programming for its streaming service.
