ACT ONE, SCENE TWO Comes to The PIT Loft, NYC

Experience the creation of an original play in real time! Each of Act One Scene Two's performances features a different guest playwright who has submitted the first scene of an unfinished play. The cast performs the submitted scene, having just read it for the first time, then improvises the rest of the play- starting from Act One, Scene Two. Theater can't get any more live than this! Tickets are available now for both remaining performances: April 29th at 7:00pm, and May 27th at 7:00pm.
*Act One, Scene Two is a proprietary, long form improvisational theatre format developed by San Francisco's Un-Scripted Theater Company. We are thrilled to be bringing it to NYC for it's east coast premiere!

Diana DiCostanzo
Diana DiCostanzo hails from Long Island, NY and is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA. She is known bicoastally as an Actress, Improvisor, Singer/Songwriter, Director, Playwright and Teacher. After several years immersed in the San Francisco performing arts community, Diana returned to the east coast, bringing with her extensive training with the Un-Scripted Theater Company, known for their specific brand of improvised theater and for challenging the very limits of the medium. ABOUT THE PIT
The Peoples Improv Theater is an award winning training center and comedy theater based in New York City. The PIT is dedicated to the instruction, performance, and development of original comedy. The PIT strives to entertain and educate the community about the comedic arts in a safe and nurturing environment. The PIT is composed of three elements: a school that focuses on the craft of improvisation, an eclectic variety of electives, and an unparalleled professional writing program; a theater that presents original comedic shows seven nights a week; and a corporate and educational workshop program that offers team building, leadership, and business training.
