Lyle Courtney Productions announces that the world premiere of Ace, a beat-the-clock comedy written and performed by Emmy Award-winning Letterman writer TEd Greenberg, races into The Marjorie S. Deane Theater (10 West 64th Street). Elizabeth Margid (Alice Eve Cohen's What I Thought I Knew, Matthew Maguire's Wild Man in Rome) directs. Ace will begin a limited five-week engagement Off-Broadway on Sunday, October 1, 2017 and run through Sunday, November 5, 2017. The Opening Night is Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 7PM.

Travel back to December 18, 1987 - the nine-year anniversary of Ted Greenberg's long overdue college paper on Edmund Spenser's The Fairie Queene. On that snowy Friday, Ted drives a New York City cab while his father Ace Greenberg runs Wall Street. Ted has one screaming deadline in front of him: turn the paper in by midnight or lose his chance to graduate from Harvard. Forever. It will take a wild ride through the Big Apple, his past and with a white collar felon before he's able to come to grips with whether to be a dropout or not to be a dropout.

TEd Greenberg created and performs the hit mostly one-man comedy show TEd Greenberg's The Complete Performer, now in its ninth season at Soho Playhouse. Ted's been called "outrageously funny" by Backstage and The New York Post raved about him, "This multifaceted funnyman (Emmy-winning Letterman writer, no less) will deliver laughs." He's also been featured on The View, Million Dollar Listings and has twice been nominated for the Andy Kaufman Award.

The production team for Ace includes Guy de Lancey (set/lights), Becky Bodurtha (costumes), Luqman Brown (sound), Jolene Noelle (associate director), Kai Brothers (production manager) and Fatimah Amill (production stage manager). The production's creative producer is Lanie Zipoy (WP Theater's Lortel Award-nominated play Bethany with America Ferrera, Brooklyn premiere of Caroline, or Change).

Ace will be performed Off-Broadway at The Marjorie S. Deane Theater (10 West 64th Street, near Central Park West; Subway: 1 to 66; A/C or B/D to 59th/Columbus Circle) Sunday, October 1, 2017 through Sunday, November 5, 2017. The performance schedule is Tuesday at 7PM, Wednesday at 2PM and 7PM, Thursday at 7PM, Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 2PM and 8PM and Sunday at 3PM. (No show on Tuesday, October 31st and no 2PM performance on Wednesday, October 11th.).

Tickets are $55 to $75 and may be purchased in advance at www.acetheplay.com or by calling OvationTix at (866) 811-4111.
