Confessions Of A Justified Sinner, an album of 14 original songs written and performed by West End actor/singer/songwriter Will Barratt, will be released by Auburn Jam Records on August 10. The album includes a song co-written and performed with Nadim Naaman plus a solo and a duet from Rebecca Trehearn.

Barratt was most recently seen on a West End stage as Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys and previous West End credits include roles in Sweeney Todd, The Phantom Of The Opera, Carousel, Les Miserables and The Producers.

An album launch concert will be staged at The Hippodrome Casino, Leicester Square, on the evening of Sunday August 9, where Barratt will be joined by guests Nadim Naaman (Sweeney Todd, Titanic, The Phantom of the Opera, Chess), Ryan Molloy (Jersey Boys, Tonight's The Night, Taboo, Jerry Springer The Opera), Michael Conway (Jersey Boys, Fiddler on the Roof) and Rebecca Trehearn (City Of Angels, Dogfight, Ghost, Love Story). The singers will be accompanied by a live band led by Auburn Jam's Joe Davison.

Tickets for the launch gig can be booked via the Hippodrome website.

The album will be available for download via all major online retailers from August 10 and pre-order limited edition signed physical copies of the album are also available via Kickstarter, where people can also pledge donations (for a number of attractive "rewards") to a campaign which aims to raise £4000 by August 6 to create a music and dance video for the Moulin Rouge-esque tango track on the album - "Tatiana" - featuring Latin & Ballroom dancers from Karen Hardy Studios (of Strictly Come Dancing fame).

Barratt and his Confessions Of A Justified Sinner album have already garnered high praise from critics and fellow West End stars:

"Instantly when I heard Will's voice I was thrown into an hypnotic sensation and was driven into the stories of each song. ...the perfect mix between Billy Joel and Keane." Gerónimo Rauch

"If you like songs with a flavour of musical theatre, you'll like this... but this is more than musicals. Great original tunes and great performances." - John Owen-Jones

"A wonderfully diverse, quirky and clever album of songs. What Will has created is an album that sets itself apart from other musical theatre performers and fully displays his skill as a sophisticated and very talented songwriter, as well as an outstanding singer." LondonTheatre1

Will Barratt himself commented: "This album has taken quite some time to come into being. I began writing at college about 15 years ago, and there are a couple of tracks from all the way back then. Since then, I have written more and I've been wanting to record them properly for years. I've had an amazing time performing in shows in London and the UK and more recently all over the world gigging with The 4Tunes but I felt now was the perfect time to create something myself and have faith in my own writing."
