Tony-nominated, Sundance Film Festival winner and Broadway and Off Broadway legend Charles Busch is finally heading to the UK for three performances only of his critically acclaimed cabaret act that has been playing to rave reviews and standing ovations around America including at the iconic 54 Below in New York.

The Lady in Question is Me! promises to showcase the world famous drag artist/playwright in fine form as he shares outrageous personal stories, original characters and Hollywood film parodies.

Busch has enjoyed critical and commercial success with his unique brand of drag performance and scripts both paying homage and parodying old Hollywood; a star on the US theatre scene, his name is synonymous with rave reviews and sell-out shows.

Busch has spent decades thrilling audiences in New York and around America with his brilliant plays such as Die, Mommie Die (turned in to a movie that saw him win a Sundance Film Festival Award for his performance), Psycho Beach Party, The Lady In Question, the smash hit The Divine Sister and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom that ran for 5 years Off Broadway. On Broadway he wrote the Tony Nominated play Tale of the Allergists Wife which went on to be Tony Nominated for Best New Play and run for over 700 performances and he also wrote the book for the Broadway production of the Boy George musical Taboo. On film he has starred in and adapted his plays Psycho Beach Party and Die, Mommie, Die! as well as stepping behind the camera to direct the movie A Very Serious Person as well as appearing in it alongside Polly Bergen. He can be seen in The Addams Family Values and on the long running US TV series Oz. Most recently Busch wrote and starred in the Off Broadw play The Tribute Artist.

Charles Busch will be joined by his musical director and singing partner Tom Judson who appeared in the smash hit revival of Cabaret on Broadway and on tour as well the US tour of 42nd Street. He composed the score to Whit Stillman's indie film classic Metropolitan and has also written songs for Sesame Street, Ann Magnuson, Lisa Troy and many others.
