Tom Chambers and Laura Rogers to Lead 2016 UK Tour of PRIVATE LIVES

According to the Daily Mail, Tom Chambers and Laura Rogers will star as exes 'Elyot' and 'Amanda' in the upcoming UK national tour of Noel Coward's PRIVATE LIVES.

Directed by Tom Attenborough, the show will launch at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking on January 11, also starring Charlotte Ritchie and Richard Teverson as the leads' new spouses.

PRIVATE LIVES, which debuted in 1930, centers on a divorced couple who run into each other while honeymooning with their new spouses at the same hotel. The 2001 London revival won three Olivier Awards.

Chambers has appeared in the West End in TOP HAT and WHITE CHRISTMAS. He has also appeared in the TV series WATERLOO ROAD, HOLBY CITY, STRICTLY COME DANCING, FATHER BROWN and more.

Rogers starred in the original London run of THE 39 STEPS. Among her recent UK theatre credits are PRESSURE at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh, followed by a run at Chichester, AS YOU LIKE IT, MACBETH, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT's DREAM and TIMON OF ATHENS at The Globe, and BAD GIRLS: THE MUSICAL.
