Sarah Lark will make her debut at The Pheasantry on Monday October 17th in a cabaret evening presented by The Stephen Sondheim Society.

A native of Cardiff, Sarah began her West End career in 2000 when she created the role of the "Little Girl" in Cameron Mackintosh's production of the John Dempsey/Dana P. Rowe musical, The Witches Of Eastwick at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Eight years later she was a finalist in BBC television's I'd Do Anything and later went on to understudy and play the role of Nancy in Oliver! - once more at Drury Lane.

Since then she has performed a solo cabaret at LauderDale House, was amongst the all-star cast in a concert celebrating the work of young British songwriter Michael Bruce at the Apollo Theatre, joined Leanne Masterton at the Jermyn Street Theatre for a tribute concert to Broadway legend Jerry Herman on the evening of his 80th Birthday - and has been a regular Master Of Ceremonies and lead vocalist at London's famous Show Off Piano Bar.

Sarah recently recorded the duet Four Hundred Years (from the musical Once Bitten) with fellow Welsh West End star John Owen Jones - which features on the album Surrounded By The Sounds, the songs of Tim Prottey-Jones - and she performed at the live in-store album launch event at Dress Circle on Saturday October 8th. She will go back into a recording studio next month to lend her vocal talent to the upcoming album of songs from the new epic Welsh historical musical, My Land's Shore (joining a cast of more fellow Welsh stars, including Les Miserables' JoNathan Williams and Wicked's Mark Evans).

In addition to her solo cabaret on October 17th, Miss Lark will commence performances the following night in the lead role of Miss Mona in Carol Hall's musical The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas at the Union Theatre.
