From 25 October 2010, Simon Thomas will join Sheridan Smith, Denise Van Outen, Alex Gaumond, Siobhan Dillon, Susan McFadden, Aoife Mulholland, Carley Stenson and Peter Davison in the West End hit Legally Blonde The Musical, which is currently booking until 22 October 2011 at the Savoy Theatre.

College sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesn't take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend Warner dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law! Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Simon Thomas will play Warner Huntington III. He has just finished playing Rapunzel's Prince in the acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, immediately prior to this he played the role of Tarzan in the Disney production of Tarzan at the Theatre Neue Flora in Hamburg. Further theatre credits include Cymbeline, Twelfth Night and HMS Pinafore all for Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, A Tale of Two Cities at the Theatre Royal in Brighton, Marguerite at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, Make Me A Song for the New Players Theatre, Days Of Hope at the Kings Head, Merry Wives Of Windsor for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Arabian Nights at Derby Playhouse, Hardcore for The Pleasance Theatre, London, Will in the premiere of Only The Brave at The New Theatre, Cardiff and Cinderella for the Bristol Old Vic. His film and television credits include Damian in The Score, Russian Army conscript in Bigga Than Ben and How Music Works for Tiger Aspect productions.

As of 25 October 2010 the full cast will be Sheridan Smith as Elle Woods, Denise Van Outen as Paulette, Alex Gaumond as Emmett, Simon Thomas (Warner) and Peter Davison as Professor Callahan, who are joined by Stephane Anelli (Padamadan, Nikos), Emma Bateman (Stenographer), Thomas Camilleri (Carlos), Siobhan Dillon (Vivienne Kensington), Chris Ellis-Stanton (Grandmaster Chad, Dewey, Kyle), Kimmy Edwards (Judge, Saleswoman), Ibinabo Jack (Pilar), Suzie McAdam (Enid), Andy Mace (Dad, Winthrop, Reporter), Susan McFadden (Serena), Sorelle Marsh (Courtney, Mom, Whitney), Aoife Mulholland (Brooke), Sean Mulligan (Pforzheimer), Dawn Sievewright (Kate, Chutney), Carley Stenson (Margot), Robbie Towns (Aaron), Dominic Tribuzio (Kiki), Tamara Wall (District Attorney) and Stephen Webb (Lowell), as well as Jonathan Mawson, Jane McMurtrie, Lucy Miller, Ruthie Stephenson and Gregor Stewart as swings.
