Simon Paisley Day Completes Cast Of URINETOWN At St James

Simon Paisley Day joins Richard Fleeshman and Jenna Russell in the cast of Urinetown, opening at St James Theatre this spring.

Simon Paisley Day's notable credits include BBC's Sherlock & the brand new series Musketeers, the National's Twelfth Night, The Low Road at the Royal Court and The Taming of the Shrew at Shakespeare's Globe. He will be play Caldwell B. Cladwell, completing the cast in the multi Tony Award winning show, directed by Jamie Lloyd (The Commitments, Macbeth, The Hothouse, The Pride) at the St James Theatre.

Simon joins the previously announced Chris Bennett (Swing), Katie Bernstein (Little Becky Two Shoes/Mrs. Millennium), Alasdair Buchan (Swing), Marc Elliott (Mr. McQueen), Cory English (Old Man Strong/Hot Blades Harry), Richard Fleeshman (Bobby Strong), Madeleine Harland (Soupy Sue/Cladwell's Secretary), Rosanna Hyland (Hope Cladwell), Karis Jack (Little Sally), Julie Jupp (Old Woman/Josephine Strong), Aaron Lee Lambert (Billy Boy Bill/UGC Executive), Mark Meadows(Senator Fipp), Joel Montague (Swing), Jo Napthine (Swing), Jeff Nicholson (Tiny Tom/Dr. Billeaux),Adam Pearce (Officer Barrel), Jenna Russell (Penelope Pennywise), Charlotte Scott (Swing), Matthew Seadon-Young (Robbie The Stockfish/UGC Executive) and Jonathan Slinger (Officer Lockstock).

URINETOWN The Musical, with music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann and book and lyrics by Greg Kotis,runs at the St James Theatre from 22 February until 3 May 2014, with opening night on 11 March 2014.

URINETOWN The Musical is produced by Julian Stoneman Associates and The Araca Group with production design by Evening Standard award winner, Soutra Gilmour, choreography by Ann Yee, lighting design by Adam Silverman, sound design by Terry Jardine & Nick Lidster, orchestrations byBruce Coughlin, wig & hair design by Richard Mawbey, fight direction by Kate Waters, video and projection designed by Leo Warner and musical supervision & direction by Alan Williams.
