Showtime Challenge, a new theatrical format presented by Eyebrow Productions, will produce Gershwin's CRAZY FOR YOU after 48 hours of rehearsal, with the performance taking place October 18th at the London Palladium. The proceeds of the event will benefit Cecily's Fund, a UK registered charity that helps Zambian orphans and other impoverished children to go to school.

Showtime Challenge follows a format where the organizers pick a musical, a charity and a theatre, audition a cast who have just eight weeks to learn the score independently, gather the cast and team for the first time on a Friday night, rehearse for 48 hours, and produce a polished performance on the Sunday evening to thousands of people.

CRAZY FOR YOU comes after the successes of Me and My Girl (London Palladium, 2008), Sweet Charity (Theatre Royal Drury Lane, 2006) and Into The Woods (New Theatre, Oxford, 2004). All proceeds from each show go to charity - so far we raised more than £50,000 for charities such as the British Heart Foundation, the Anthony Nolan Trust and the Oxford Children's Hospital.

Set in the 1930s, Gershwin's comic musical Crazy For You tells the story of banking heir Bobby Child who yearns for musical stardom.

Sent from his native New York to close a struggling theatre in Deadrock, Nevada, Bobby finally finds his dream - and the love of his life - within reach. With Follies Girls, mistaken identities, and show-stopping numbers such as 'I Got Rhythm' and 'Someone To Watch Over Me', Crazy For You is a hilarious, energetic night at the theatre.

Tickets for CRAZY FOR YOU range from £19.50 to £39.00. The performance will take place at 7:30pm on October 18th. Tickets may be purchased online at www.seetickets.com.
