ROOM ON THE BROOM - LIVE ON STAGE!- Adapted from the best-selling book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. A spellbinding new adventure from the creators of the smash hit production - The Gruffalo. Comes to the Garrick Theatre Wednesday 28 July - Sunday 29 August

Kenny Wax and Nick Brooke, in association with Tall Stories, are proud to announce a new production of Room on the Broom opening in the West End this summer, prior to setting out across the country on a 20 date UK tour. Fasten your seat-belts for a rip-roaring ride on a truly magnificent broom!

Based on the best-selling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and devised by acclaimed children's theatre company Tall Stories, this musical adaptation lovingly brings Room on the Broom from the page to the stage with songs, plenty of laughs and some ingenious puppetry.

Join a witch and her cat as they fly happily along on their broomstick - until a mighty wind blasts the witch's hat, bow and wand away into the night! With the help of a daft dog, a beautiful bird and a friendly frog, her belongings are retrieved. But this broomstick's not meant for five and - CRACK! - it snaps in two! When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch? And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?

Room on the Broom is an ideal introduction to theatre for pre and primary school children and their families; this colourful and engaging production will keep children and their
grown-ups enchanted! Kenny Wax and Nick Brooke are dedicated to producing quality children's theatre in the West End and nationwide. Room on the Broom follows the smash hit West End success of We're Going on a Bear Hunt and The Gruffalo.

A magical, musical delight for children aged 3 - 8
