The Best Supporting Actress category has two nominees perhaps slightly better known for their work in musicals.

Sharon D Clarke - the original Killer Queen in We Will Rock You, and Oda Mae Brown in Ghost - gets a nod for her role as Odessa in The Amen Corner at the National.

And Katherine Kingsley - nominated previously for her performance in Singin' In The Rain - is nominated this time round for her Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Noel Coward Theatre.

Clarke's castmate Cecilia Noble is also in the running, as is West End debutant Sarah Greene, nominated for her role in The Cripple of Inishmaan.
