Geoids Musical Theatre have announced a new production of the much-loved Lerner and Loewe musical My Fair Lady which comes to London for a limited run at the Bridewell Theatre from 4 to 8 April 2017.

Famously made into an Oscar-winning film starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison, it tells the story of Henry Higgins and his attempts to coach Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into speaking "proper" English. Its classic musical numbers include "With A Little Bit of Luck", "I Could Have Danced All Night", "On the Street Where You Live" and "Get Me to the Church on Time".

The production will mark the first London amateur staging of the show in over a decade, which was last notably produced by Cameron Mackintosh and the National Theatre in 2001 and is being presented a stone's throw from Covent Garden at the Bridewell Theatre.

Geoids' production will feature Mimi Kroll, member of the London Symphony Chorus, as Eliza Doolittle. It will also include new costume designs and choreography by Lemington Ridley (2016 BroadwayWorld UK / West End Awards Nominations for Best Costume Design and Best Choreography of a New Production of a Play or Musical, Ragtime), a new production design by John Winters and is directed by Daniel Penfold with musical direction by Erika Gundesen.

Geoids Musical Theatre have recently been represented in London with productions of On the Twentieth Century, Hair, Sweet Charity, She Loves Me, and the Central London amateur premiere of Sunset Boulevard, which ran at the Bridewell Theatre in October 2015.
