MATILDA Now Booking Through October 2012!

Following a triumphant opening at the Cambridge Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical has extended its booking period. Tickets are now on sale up to, and including, 21 October 2012. The new stage musical, which has captured the imagination of young and old alike, transferred to the West End on Tuesday 25 October 2011.

The production is written by playwright Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by the anarchic Australian comedian, musician and composer Tim Minchin, and direction by Matthew Warchus.

The young actresses sharing the title role are Cleo Demetriou, Kerry Ingram, Sophia Kiely and Eleanor Worthington Cox.

The adult cast consists of Bertie Carvel (Miss Trunchbull), Paul Kaye (Mr Wormwood) Josie Walker (Mrs Wormwood) and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey), who are reprising their roles, alongside Marc Antolin, Verity Bentham, Peter Howe, Michael Kent, Melanie La Barrie, Matthew Malthouse, Alastair Parker, Nick Searle and Emily Shaw who also appeared in the original production in Stratford. Further adult casting includes: Matthew Clark, Leanne Pinder, Katy Monk, Rachel Moran, Lucy Thatcher, Tim Walton and Gary Watson.

The three teams of eight young performers who are recreating the roles of Bruce, Lavender, Amanda, Nigel, Eric and the other pupils at Crunchem Hall Primary School are:

Thomas Atkinson, Jake Bailey, James Beesley, Ruby Bridle, Oonagh Cox, Jemima Eaton, Alicia Gould, Zachary Harris, Callum Henderson, Fleur Houdijk, Jamie Kaye, William Keeler, Lily Laight, Katie Lee, Alfie Manser, Isobelle Molloy, Jemima Morgan, Toby Murray, Annabel Parsons, Lucy May Pollard, Jake Pratt, Ellie Simons, Louis Suc, Jaydon Vijn and TEd Wilson.
