West End Eurovision opens tonight, Thursday 26th April at The Dominion Theatre in London's West End, with no fewer than ten West End show casts performing fully costumed and choreographed versions of Eurovision Song Contest numbers. Audience members will be treated to unique, fully staged Eurovision entries performed by the London West End casts of: Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages, Shrek, Sweeney Todd, The 39 Steps, The Wizard of Oz and Wicked. In addition, there will be a one off extravaganza of a performance by international recording artist and television personality Javine Hylton as she reprises her 2005 UK entry 'Touch My Fire'.

West End Eurovision will be hosted by television and radio presenter Gaby Roslin and star of Eastenders John Partridge. Back stage hosts will include Heart FM's Toby Anstis and ITV's 'Show me the Funny's Kate Copstick.

The show, which last year was nominated in the top 5 "Theatrical Events of the Year" in the BroadwayAwards 2011, is destined to be bigger and better than ever before, but tickets are flying out the door fast for this 'one night only' event which raises funds to support people living with chronic ill health and experiencing extreme poverty.

Each show will perform a number as well as having filmed a fun 75 second ident film, to win an award for the best creative idea. All of these can be seen at http://www.madtrust.org.uk where the public can vote on their favourite until 6pm on 26th April by sending a £1 text, all proceeds to The Make A Difference Trusts' charitable work.

David Pendlebury, Chairman of TheatreMAD said "Eurovision is such a camp and fun event; it's perfectly suited to a late night West End crowd. It has the potential to raise such a lot of money for the projects we fund and we are thrilled and enormously grateful for all the support we have received as we aim to make this fifth West End Eurovision the best ever."

Tickets are £20, £35 & £45 or Platinum Package for £100 (including pre show drinks & canapés hosted by Stefanie Powers, a programme, a top price ticket & access to the After-Show Party at The Penthouse London), Gold Package for £60 (including a pre-show glass of champagne, a programme & a top price ticket). You can book by phone: 0844 847 2510, via Ticketmaster, of in person at the Dominion Theatre Box Office (10am to 7.45pm Mon-Sat). Group rates and concessions available.
