Coronation Street's Kym Marsh, West End & Broadway star Rachel Tucker and Jayne Wisener from Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd will play the iconic Brides of Dracula in this brand new adaptation of Bram Stoker's iconic masterpiece on vampirism starring Gerard McCarthy.

The announcement was made at midnight on twitter after a quote from Bram Stoker's original text was tweeted from the production's official account @MrJHarker...

"Tonight, when the clock strikes midnight, all the evil things in the world will have full sway... " They're coming! #BridesOfDracula"

Directed by Ulster Theatre Company's artistic director Michael Poynor, McCarthy will play both Jonathan Harker, whose diaries chronicle the bloody tale, and the greatest supernatural character of all time: Count Dracula.

JONATHAN HARKER AND DRACULA will run from 18 - 27 September at the Theatre At The Mill in Belfast before a limited Irish tour.

Using multiple cameras, backing screens, projections, surround sound and a newly commissioned score, this solo tour de force is guaranteed to make audiences scream.

Marsh, Tucker and Wisener will feature in pre-filmed sequences to be projected on stage during the performance.
