John Addison Joins Cast of The Landor Theatre's THE THING ABOUT MEN, Now thru June 9

John Addison was previously announced to play Sebastian and complete the cast for the London revival of The Thing About Men, due to open at The Landor Theatre tonight, 15th May 2012 for a strictly limited four week run.Theatrica Ltd have not been able to announce John until now, due to his placement and filming schedule for the latest ITV series, Superstar; dedicated to helping Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber find his next title role in Jesus Christ Superstar.

John is no stranger to the West End and musical theatre. He has played roles such as Marius in Les Misérables, Raoul in The Phantom of The Opera, Mr Erlanson in A Little Night Music, not to mention acclaimed productions such as Sweeney Todd, playing Anthony (Bolton Octagon) and Me and Juliet (The Finborough).

Last week the Production Company announced the first four cast members, including Lucyelle Cliffe, Peter Gerald, Kate Graham and Steven Webb, today's announcement completes this all star line-up.

Lucyelle Cliffe is best known for being one third of the renowned cabaret troupe W.O.M.A.N as well as being in comedy musicals, Piramania and Plague in Edinburgh and London. Lucyelle will be bringing her superb comedy quality to a variety of roles in the production.

The leading role of Tom Ambrose will be played by musical theatre veteran, Peter Gerald. He is best known for understudying and playing the lead role of Seymour in the original London production of Little Shop of Horrors. Other credits have included Thénardier in Les Misérables,, Adrian Mole in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Lee Harvey Oswald in Assassins (Derby Playhouse).

After travelling the world playing Tanya in the International tour of Mamma Mia, Kate Graham has returned to London to play the role of Lucy. Kate has had an impressive career, playing roles such as Miss. Wilkinson in the West End production of Billy Elliot (Victoria Palace), the beggar woman in Derby Playhouse’s production of Sweeney Todd, Babette in Beauty and The Beast (Dominion Theatre) and Hold Me, Touch Me in The Producers (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane).

Last, but by no means least, is the hugely talented Steven Webb. After recently appearing in After The Turn (Courtyard Theatre), Aladdin (Lyric Hammersmith) and Betwixt (Trafalgar Studios), Stevie will be playing a multitude of comedic roles. Steven is regarded by many as the definitive Posner in The History Boys, as well as playing Ross in Departure Lounge (Waterloo East) and many other stage/television appearances, including Channel 4’s The Inbetweeners.

The Thing About Men plays for four weeks, opening tonight, Tuesday 15th May until Saturday 9th June 2012 for a strictly limited run at The Landor Theatre (nearest tube Clapham North), directed by Andrew Keates. Press night is Friday 18th May 2012.
