Gary Milner will be joining real-life wife Sally Ann Triplett in the smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! at the Prince of Wales Theatre from 11 June 2012. Milner, who will play Sam Carmichael opposite Sally's Donna Sheridan, most recently appeared on stage playing the title role in Pericles at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

Milner's other recent theatre work includes Love Story at the Chichester Festival Theatre and the Duchess Theatre, The Crucible at the Open Air Theatre, A Streetcar Named Desire at the Donmar Warehouse, The Music Man at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Parade at the Donmar Warehouse, and Evita at the Adelphi Theatre.

Also joining the cast from 11 June are Neil Roberts as Harry Bright, James Gaddas as Bill Austin, Charlotte Wakefield as Sophie Sheridan, Andreas Gyllander as Sky, Abiola Ogunbiyi as Ali, Tasha Taylor Johnson as Lisa, Steven Oliver as Pepper and Liam Doyle as Eddie. At certain performances, the role of 'Donna Sheridan' will be played by Claire Poyzer. Joanna Monro and Kim Ismay will continue as Rosie and Tanya respectively. This new cast will appear in MAMMA MIA! at the Prince of Wales Theatre until 1 September and will then move with the show to its new home at the Novello Theatre from 6 September 2012.

MAMMA MIA! is Judy Craymer's ingenious vision of staging the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs with an enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolding on a Greek island paradise. To date, it has been seen by more than 50 million people in 37 productions in 14 different languages grossing more than $2 billion at the box office. MAMMA MIA! the Movie is the highest grossing musical film and one in four households in the UK has the DVD.

From West End to global phenomenon, the London production of MAMMA MIA! has now been seen by more than 1 in 10 of the entire UK population. It is one of only five musicals to have run for more than 10 years both on Broadway and in the West End.

Last year, MAMMA MIA! became the first Western musical ever to be staged in Chinese in the People's Republic of China. The show opened in Shanghai in July 2011 with a Mandarin-speaking cast and heralded a new era of musical theatre in China.

With music & lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material & arrangements by Martin Koch.

MAMMA MIA! is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East & Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.

The performance lasts 2 hours and 35 minutes (including a 15-minute interval).

The show runs until 1 September 2012 at the Prince of Wales Theatre at £64.00, £39.50, £20.00 (Monday-Friday); £67.50, £52.50, £39.50, £20.00 (Saturday) and all ticket prices include a £1 theatre restoration levy. Performance Times are Monday - Thursday 7.30pm, Friday 5.00pm & 8.30pm, Saturday 3.00pm & 7.30pm, N.B. Friday 27 July 2012 - the matinee will be at 3pm and there is no 8.30pm performance.

From 6 September 2012 the show runs at the Novello Theatre, Aldwych, London WC2B 4LD at £64.00, £39.50, £20.00, £15.00 (Monday-Friday); £67.50, £52.50, £39.50, £20.00, £15.00 (Saturday). Performance Times are Monday - Saturday 7.45pm, Matinees - Thursday & Saturday 3.00pm.
