Confirmed: THE BOOK OF MORMON to Hit West End in Feb 2013 Under Original Direction

The London production of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of Nine 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the Year, will begin preview performances in the West End at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 25 February 2013 with tickets released for general sale on 13 September 2012.
With Book, Music and Lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone, the London production of THE BOOK OF MORMON is Directed by Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker and Choreographed by Casey Nicholaw. The show features Set Design by Scott Pask, Costume Design by Ann Roth, Lighting Design by Brian MacDevitt, Sound Design by Brian Ronan, Orchestrations by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus and Music Supervision and Vocal Arrangements by Stephen Oremus.
THE BOOK OF MORMON will be produced in the West End by Anne Garefino, Scott Rudin and Sonia Friedman Productions.
The show's creators, SOUTH PARK masterminds Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will arrive in London this month to continue casting the production. Tickets for the production will go on sale in September 2012.
THE BOOK OF MORMON, the winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is next set to perform live at the 2012 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10. The show is currently playing on Broadway at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street) and launches its 1st National Tour in Denver at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on August 14. A Second Company of THE BOOK OF MORMON starts performances on December 11 at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago.

On Broadway, THE BOOK OF MORMON features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and sound design by Brian Ronan. Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus. Music direction and vocal arrangements are by Stephen Oremus.
