GUYS AND DOLLS, staged at Chichester's Festival Theatre last year, is headed to the West End's Savoy Theatre with some of its original stars intact! According to the Daily Mail, the musical will begin December 10 after GYPSY ends its run.

Sophie Thompson will return as Miss Adelaide, with Jamie Parker reprising his role as Sky Masterson.

No word yet on the other leads -- Clare Foster portrayed Sarah Brown, while Peter Polycarpou played Nathan Detroit at Chichester.

Based on colourful stories about New York gamblers by Damon Runyon, GUYS AND DOLLS will again be directed by Gordon Greenberg, featuring choreography by Carlos Acosta.

Parker has appeared at Chichester and in the West End in ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD. His other credits include PROOF (Menier Chocolate Factory), HENRY V, HENRY IV Part I and HENRY IV Part 2 (all for Shakespeare's Globe), and THE HISTORY BOYS (National Theatre, Broadway and Australia and Hong Kong).

Sophie Thompson recently starred in CLYBOURNE PARK (Royal Court) for which she received Olivier and Evening Standard Award nominations, INTO THE WOODS (Donmar Warehouse) for which she received an Olivier Award and COMPANY (Donmar Warehouse and West End) for which she received an Olivier Award nomination. She is well known to TV viewers for her role as Stella Crawford in EASTENDERS.
