Three of London's leading musical theatre artists - Cassidy Janson, Niall Sheehy and Shona White - will be starring in the world premiere of The Route To Happiness, the new musical by the internationally acclaimed British composer-lyricist Alexander S. Bermange, at London's Landor Theatre.

Whether through their leading roles in the West End and on tour, or through their live performances on prime-time television, Cassidy Janson, Niall Sheehy and Shona White have established themselves as three of today's most exciting musical theatre performers: Cassidy Janson in Lend Me A Tenor, Avenue Q and Wicked; Niall Sheehy on ITV's Superstar (in which he was a finalist) and in Spamalot and Wicked; and Shona White in Chess, Les Miserables and Wicked.

The Route To Happiness charts the individual and interweaving experiences of three present-day Londoners in pursuit of their respective dreams: finding love, making money, and becoming famous. A show with humour and heart, audiences will be amused, moved, and possibly even made to question their own desires and goals.

Alexander S. Bermange is known to millions as the resident comic songwriter on BBC Radio 4's Broadcasting House and the BBC World Service's Weekend. He has also enjoyed considerable public and critical acclaim for a dozen musicals which have enjoyed successful runs in theatres across the country and in vast arenas around Europe . He has written music for theatre productions in the West End and around the UK , and his songs have been recorded and released by many international musical stars. In December 2012, he was invited by Kevin Spacey to write music and lyrics for The 24 Hour Musicals at the Old Vic.

In recent months, London' s Landor Theatre has shot to prominence for premiering musicals by Kander and Ebb (writers of Cabaret and Chicago), Flaherty and Ahrens (writers of Ragtime and Once On This Island) and Howard Goodall. The Route To Happiness is to be directed by its artistic director Robert McWhir - who has gained a formidable reputation for his innovative productions of musicals there including, in the last year alone, Curtains, The Glorious Ones and Hot Mikado - as the focal point of the venue's new musical theatre season, branded From Page To Stage and curated by Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment.

The Route To Happiness runs from tonight, 19th to Sunday 24th February (Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, Sunday at 2.30pm) at the Landor Theatre, 70 Landor Road, London SW9 9PH. Tickets are available by calling 020 7737 7276 or visiting www.bermange.co.uk.
