Following sell-out seasons in New York and Sydney, the international multi-award-winningmusical star of stage and screen Caroline O'Connor returns to the UK in her one-womanshow Caroline O'Connor: The Showgirl Within, for a strictly limited season at the GarrickTheatre in London's West End from Monday 27 September to Sunday 3 October 2010.

Caroline O'Connor: The Showgirl Within celebrates the culmination of Caroline's yearsof stage and screen experience. A uniquely versatile performer whose triple threat talentsin acting, song and dance transcend traditional boundaries, Caroline is joined by anexhilirating ensemble of dancers and her own on stage band for her first ever musical solo show in the West End.

Caroline O'Connor: The Showgirl Within is helmed by visionary powerhouse pairing Michael Gracey and Ashley Wallen, who between them are responsible for the creativedirection and choreography of leading music artists including Will Young, Alesha Dixon, Kylie Minogue and the Sugababes.

Featuring standout musical theatre anthems, and classicsongs that have shaped her illustrious career, this is a one woman show like no other.

Caroline O'Connor is a multi award-winning singer, dancer and actress who regularly gracesthe stages of Broadway, the West End, the Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House. AsNini in Baz Luhrmann's Oscar-winning film Moulin Rouge, Caroline came to the attention ofmusic lovers all over the world. Her other screen credits include Ethel Merman in De-Lovelyfor MGM.

Some of her signature roles include Piaf, Judy Garland, both Roxie and Velma inChicago, Anita in West Side Story and Mabel in Mack & Mabel. Caroline O'Connor is one of very few actresses to have been nominated for both theOlivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Mack & Mabel and the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Play for Bombshells.

She was the recipient of The Stage Best ActressAward in Edinburgh for End of the Rainbow, and a Whatsonstage Award for Best SoloPerformance in Bombshells.
