BETWIXT! Movie Project In The Pipeline; Call For Funding

Last year's Trafalgar Studios hit Betwixt! seems to be heading to the silver screen - if the producers can pull together enough funding.
The production's cast included Ellen Greene, Peter Duncan, Ashleigh Gray, Benedict Salter and Steven Webb, and was nominated for Best Fringe Or Regional Musical in last year's 2011 BWW:UK Awards.
A source close to the show and the film tells us: "Before, during, and after the run at the Trafalgar Studios people asked, nay, begged for a cast recording and a chance to see the show again and again - this will give us the opportunity. So, not only will a CD be released of the movie soundtrack, a DVD will be available too.
"Producing new musical theatre is always tough, especially when it's an original story such as Betwixt!, and turning it into a film is even more risky so we need your help to make the best film we can and preserve this great show, and with an awesome cast made up of TV and musical theatre faces you'll know!"
