SUFFRAGETTE centers on the beginnings of the women's voting rights movement in the UK. Mulligan will star as a leader of the feminist movement who becomes radicalized and eventually violent following a series of unsuccessful peaceful protests. No word on what role Duff will play.

Duff's upcoming big screen projects include Before I Go to Sleep and Molly Moon: The Incredible Hypnotist. Past film credits include Sanctuary, Nowhere Boy, The Last Station, French Film, Is Anybody There?, The Waiting Room, Garage, Notes on a Scandal and more. Among her TV appearances are the series Shameless, Parade's End, Accused, The Virgin Queen, Wild West, The Way We Live Now, Aristocrats and Amongst Women.

She is currently making her Broadway debut as Lady Macbeth in the current Lincoln Center production starring Ethan Hawke in the title role.
