West End leading lady Anna-Jane Casey will be performing her own cabaret on Sunday July 29th at 2.30pm at the Union Theatre as part of their Union Gold season.

She's promising a very varied set list taken from different times in her career so far.

"I'm obviously doing some musical theatre stuff but then jazz, pop, swing - and three songs on my ukelele!" she says.

"I've got a fantastic MD and pianist Paul Herbert and Robin Colyer is my amazing bassist - and it's all linked together by me acting my normal bonkers self - I never think you should take yourself too seriously in these cabarets unless you're Chita Rivera or Liza Minnelli.

"Hopefully people will like it!"
 
The Union Theatre is previewing the season and selling tickets on their own website. 

Next month, Casey will be starring in Guys and Dolls in concert at Cadogan Hall with Ruthie Henshall from August 22-26, and then featuring in Prom 59, The Broadway Sound, with the John Wilson Orchestra, Seth MacFarlane, Sierra Boggess and Julian Ovenden on August 27.
