West End actress and singer Alice Fearn will perform her debut solo cabaret at the St James Studio on Sunday May 8. The concert, entitled "Where I've Been And Where I'm Going", will feature music that inspired her from an early age to become a performer as well as music that continues to fire her enthusiasm for musical theatre even now.

Alice was seen last summer delighting audiences at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury where she starred as Nancy in Luke Shepperd's production of Oliver! Her many West End credits include roles in musicals such as Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Shrek, Les Miserables, The Woman In White and Timothy Sheader's Olivier Award winning production of Sondheim's Into The Woods at Regents Park. She also appeared in Tom Hooper's screen version of Les Miserables and this summer she will tour the UK as Guest Singer on Russell Watson's "Songs From The Heart" tour.

In the concert, which will be musically directed by Nick Barstow, Alice will perform an eclectic mix of classic tunes made famous by iconic stars such as Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand, musical theatre numbers from shows as diverse as Sweet Charity and Hairspray, together with some new musical theatre writing.

It looks set to be an exciting evening, with some guest performers yet to be announced, and a vocal programme that aims to provide "something for everyone".
