LES MISERABLES Opens Tonight at ShenanArts
ShenanArts at the nTelos Theatre presents Les Miserables, directed by Diane Stewart with music direction by Anne Wick Manes. The show runs: tonight, August 1st and August 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, & 10th at 7:00 pm; August 4th & August 11th at 3:00 pm.
In 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a life-long struggle for redemption. This powerful, sung-through story relates the affirmation of the human spirit, packing an emotional wallop that has thrilled audiences all over the world.
Please note: Due to the length (3 hours with Intermission) and technical requirements, this show will start promptly at the advertised time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time.
