Lorna Mulvaney is a lifetime theatre enthusiast whose love of the art form can be traced back to her first role in the Pit Chorus of The Wizard of Oz at age 8. Since then, Lorna's involvement in theatre has spanned roles including actress, director, stage manager, producer, and critic. Lorna is the Assistant Production Manager/Casting Assistant at Studio Theatre here in Washington, DC. When she's not in rehearsal, Lorna enjoys drinking beer and playing volleyball.

At first glance, Imagination Stage's Night Fairy is a story about an injured Night Fairy who must learn to survive in the daytime. However, although Flory the Night Fairy does manage to survive in her new ecosystem, the means by which she thrives often seem overly harsh and not all that noble.

Ms. Florrie Bagel of Bethesda, Maryland, recently back from her two-year national tour of Sister Act, performed a one-night-only cabaret at Signature Theatre on Friday, July 25, as part of their Sizzlin' Summer Nights series, and it didn't take long to realize that Florrie Bagel is somebody special.
