The Washington Ballet's TWB@THEARC Performance Ensemble, an audition-only group, will perform at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, presenting selections from balletsincluding Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet and more. This group of 20 dancers tours DC performing at venues including The White House, Library of Congress and international embassies.

The Millennium Stage performance will also feature dancers from The Washington School of Ballet's Southeast DC campus TWB@THEARC, EXCEL! Scholarship and DanceDCstudents from Beers and Moten Elementary.

The DanceDC program is The Washington Ballet's largest community engagement program. It works in tandem with District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) to offer an arts integrated curriculum taught to second and third graders in eight schools across the city during the school day. Each student is exposed to 15 hours of instruction and by the end of the program, performs for peers and the school community.

The EXCEL! Scholarship offers students a one year opportunity to attend The Washington School of Ballet. These students have graduated from DanceDC and show particular talent and focus.
