THE CAPITAL CITY SHOWCASE Returns Thursday Night

The Capital City Showcase returns with a special FREE edition this Thursday, April 27th, at 9:00pm at The Clarendon Grill, located at 1101 N. Highland St in Arlington, VA. This show is a part of the Grill's "Thursday Circus" series.

The Capital City Showcase is the variety show that features the DMV's best comedians, musicians, and performing artists. For over six years, the Showcase has included DC's best artists of all kinds, including stand-up comedians, improv troupes, bands, acoustic singer-songwriters, and hip-hop artists.

April's Showcase will feature:

COMEDY HEADLINER: Kasaun Wilson

Kasaun Wilson has been a staple in the DC comedy scene for nearly a decade. A regular performer at The DC Improv, Magooby's Joke House, and the Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse, he was voted "DC's Funniest College Student" in 2010, and made his national television debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2015.

MUSICAL HEADLINER: Olivia Mancini and The Mates

Olivia Mancini and The Mates are a folk-pop rock band that has toured all over the United States and Europe. They have performed with top-of-the-line acts that include The Hold Steady, Matthew Sweet, and Melissa Ferrick, and their music has appeared in major-network TV shows such as Gossip Girl and Entourage.

This fantastic Showcase will also feature comedy from Benjy Himmelfarb and Natalie McGill and music from Jasmine Gillison
