HOUSE OF GOLD

December 8, 2010 - January 8, 2011

Following the success of Barack Stars: The Wrath of Rahm, Second City returns to its D.C. home for a riotous take on the most influential, powerful, and polarizing women in politics. This original and all-new performance is being developed exclusively for Woolly Mammoth and Washington, D.C.!

OEDIPUS EL REY
By Luis Alfaro, Directed by Michael John Garcés
February 7 - March 6, 2011

An Oedipus rewired for today, but which still explores the complex rhythms between maternal and sexual love. Set in the present day between the L.A. barrio and California prison system, this transformed classic explores love and self-fulfilling prophecy in a world of crime and fate.

A NEW MONOLOGUE* BY Mike Daisey
Created by Mike Daisey, Directed by Jean-Michele Gregory
March 21 - April 10, 2011

Mike Daisey brings great intensity and passion to every topic he tackles. This time around, Mike applies his maniacal musings and hysterical wit in a new monologue that deconstructs a certain technology icon*.

*Note: The subject of this play and title will be revealed as soon as Mike concludes his stealthy research.
